The San Francisco Street Food Festival has come and gone. The team has been to the spa to recover – the spa you ask, yes the spa. When your feet are swollen and throbbing because you have spent 12 straight hours on your feet, after spending 40 hours or more in preparation for the event it is necessary to take a moment to detox. At least this is what Chef and Number 2 told me as they went speeding down the road. I had a Sabbath day.
So now that the team has returned, all rested and aglow what’s next? Well we continue with our mission of taking the common food to uncommon places. With that in mind – the whole building a better mouse trap so the world will beat a path to your door thing – so we will be attending and manning a booth at the Let’s Do This entrepreneur extravaganza September 19, 2012 at the Oakland Airport Hilton.
While the rest of the bay is caught up in the never ending debates about releasing tax returns, who pays the higher percentage of taxes, who has the best plan for turning the economy around, and the start of football and the requisite fantasy football season, we will be immersed in the company of other likeminded individuals who have come to the conclusion that to be the master of your own ship of destiny id far more desireable than to be a passenger on someone else's dinghy of industry.
