The events that have befallen us and the adventures we have had since the festival are incredible. We have been contacted by an event promoter and we will be at a charity golf event in Danville. We have seen commercial kitchens, a ginormous trailer (not a food truck but a trailer), many consultants and been introduced to many farmers markets. We have come to the conclusion that this entire process and path we are taking are the correct one for us. There is a market for our niche: everyone who has had, sampled, or even heard the description of the waffle have all had the mmmm moment. No human being with two taste buds to rub together could possibly not have one. The farmers markets provide us a perfect venue. Now comes the challenging part: getting in. We were both smitten with flu-like symptoms this weekend that prevented us from getting samples to the board for one group. We will be attempting this again next week — health permitting. If all goes well we should have a regular venue where we will be providing our culinary wizardry to the Bay. We will also be working on getting into other markets. To celebrate our entry (sometime in the next two weeks) we will be adding a beverage to our selection:
Frozen Hot Chocolate. It is the perfect compliment to the decadent items we provide on our menu. Until then keep your ears to the ground, you may hear the rumbling that we are making as we gain momentum, or it could be that stampede of hungry omnivores tracking us down.
Life is short…eat something memorable.
