We have come to the end of the Holiday Season. This has been an incredible month. We have been fielding 3 jobs a week. In the last job a luncheon for the single largest HMO conglomerate in the world we received an ovation. That job has been the gift that keeps on giving. We are preparing some crab cakes for a Christmas Eve party.
I must take a moment to talk about the we in Pinx. The we speaks to the braintrust of Pinx and the Promoter. My contributions to this endeavor are more on the marketing, sales, operations and day laborer side. The namesake is the sorceress who spends her time in the kitchen concocting these wonderfully addictive morsels that have put us on the map. I occasionally step into the kitchen to lend ideas – most of our unusual concoctions were challenges that I gave her that she brought to life (It’s almost like collaborating with Dr. Frankenstein), or to create some libations (Almond Hot Chocolate –AKA Chocolate Almond Moo –, Raspberry Lime Sparkling Punch, and the like). I have to come clean and admit that I stand in awe of her talent. I could never do what she does. So I leave her to weave her magic. I will be her Don King spinning promotions that will keep her name in the streets: working on that buzz so everybody who has a stomach that ever growls, will hear, know, and obey the call of one of the insane creations of PINX.

Somewhere in elementary school when we are told how great the USA is and that in the land of opportunity we can be whatever we want to be as long as we have the gumption to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps, we should also be given the most important factor in the equation: SLEEP DEPRIVATION! We almost pulled an all nighter (had to get that 4 hours of sleep) before today but it is so worth it!
