Today was an absolutely HISTORIC day! Historic, you query? Yes, historic. January 18,
2012 was the single greatest culinary marketing day Pinx has ever known. Do keep
in mind that we have had the rare privilege of attending an absolute feast
inFortMasonfor the 2011 SF Street Food Festival. We have enjoyed the opportunity
to dine in Napa and inSeattle. We have noshed on some wonderful morsels in San
Francisco in restaurants and on the streets. And never, ever, in the history of
ever have I seen or enjoyed what I had today.
So what had happened was…(don’t you love it when your children start a tale with
that, you know it is going to end with some colorful revisionist history). No
really what transpired was Chef spent the day with one of our collaborators:
Divine Flower Design and Spoken Wordsmith. They came up from San Jose to sample
many dishes and provide some EXCEPTIONAL photos of the creations. The
conversations included web pages, printing sources, the next sampling/photo op
and day trips to Napa.
By the time I arrived at the Waffle Cave from my time at “Bugle Enterprises” I saw
food and dirty dishes as far as the eye could see. There were familiar creations
and some new things as well. Dishes ranged in 5 courses: appetizers, breakfast,
lunch, dinner, and dessert. Best believe that I partook in the goodies myself.
Let me say the Lion King Salmon was CRAZY!!!! I have to warn you the images you
are about to see are graphic in nature, and will cause your tongue to leak
Shout out and request for Divine Flower Design and Spoken Wordsmith; PLEASE COME BACK
TO THE CAVE! I hear rumors of Chocolate Turkey Chili, Stuffed Peppers, and
Lobster Avocado Salad.
Life is short…eat something memorable.
